COLLEGE OF Communication (CoC) romped away with the most coveted Grand Prize trophy as well as the viewer’s Choice Award in ABC 5’s “DOKYU-Student Documentary Competition” thru its “Pundido” entry. The documentary “Pundido” unravels the life of a blind ‘balot’ and ‘buko’ juice street vendor, 61 year old Manong Erming Manila. No Tuition Hike

President Dante G. Guevarra of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) has announced unequivocally that there is no impending tuition fee hike in PUP. Dr.Guevarra, president of the country’s biggest state university, said there is no plan for such move and he couldn’t’ understand how this false information cropped up “Actually, what we have here in PUP is a proposal by the government to grant us additional P150 million fund if we agree to accommodate 10,000 new students,” the university chief executive disclosed. Sandigan allows graft trial of state university execs

MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan has junked the bid of three executives of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines to dismiss the 13 counts of graft cases filed against them 10 years ago for allegedly defrauding the government of over P20 million through anomalous construction projects.
In a 12-page resolution, the anti-graft court’s Fourth Division said there was enough evidence to support the finding of probable cause against former PUP vice-president for administration Dante Guevarra, former administrative officer Augustus Cezar and former accounting division chief Adriano Salvador. may link po dun yung iapply then magfillup p kayo ng form dun at iprint yung voucher para sa payment nyo sa banks na affiliated ng school, pls see websites forthe list of banks,
then after nyo makapagbayad, you should go to PUP ICT center para makuha yung permit nyo, incuded na dun yung time and date ng exam nyo.

Good day! My name is Weebz Herrera and I wish to inquire as to how an out-of-school youth can transfer to PUP. I used to study at UPLB but due to certain reasons I was dismissed from the University. It has nearly been three years and I wish to continue my studies, not just to graduate and be an asset to my family, but also to assuage the guilt of my own failure. I sincerely hope that my pleas can be heard. I really believe that PUP can help me reach for that dream that has eluded me for so long. I guess what PUP was trying to say about the second batch are those who took the PUPCET after Feb 8 & 15. Kasi nga diba marami pang nagdemand para magexam pa kaya inextend ng PUP ang pagaccept ng applicants. April 4 is the last batch ng examninees for PUPCET–and that’s the second batch of PUPCET! so yung mga nagexam na ng Feb 8 at Feb 15, narelease na rin yung results nun nung March 30 pa.

Nka98 pa noh, ung gitna ng math at abstract,pinaghuhulaan ko lang eh..hekhek,la na kasing time eh,matatapos na. Yung first batch,nung mar.30 pa nilabas.ang 2nd batch o ang kumuha nung feb.15 ay sa apr.14 ayon sa nabasa ko.bachelor of arts in english pla kinuha ko..hehe! naubos na ung gusto ko eh.

galing kasi kong tup manila, eh napariwara ako nun..XD, so yung plano ko mag-transfer sa pup hindi na pwede kasi mabababa yung grades ko.
tas ngayon lilipat na ko sa dlsu-dasma, kaya lang yung HRM nila close na. ang plano ko mag-take muna ko ng kahit anong Eng’g course(open pa kasi) without taking the majors since magshi-shift din ako sa HRM.
eto problema, sabi sa pup:
“Transcript of Records (with a general average of a least 2.0 or its equivalent and with no failing grades/dropped or withdrawn and incomplete subjects)”
eh panu yun, kahit na sabihin naten na inayos ko tas mataas yung grades ko, hindi parin ako pwedeng lumipat kasi di ako nag-enroll ng major subjects?
sayang kasi kung eenroll ko yung majors ng Eng’g, mahihirapan lang ako, baka mababa lang yung grades o kaya bumagsak pa, di rin ako makakapasok sa pup.
so pano po kaya yun? naguguluhan po kasi ko.

I’m a 2nd year Civil engineering student, incoming 3rd year this SY2009-2010, here in mindanao.
Gusto ko sanang malaman kung maaari pa ba akong mag.enrol as transferee sa PUP sta. mesa, manila. Hindi ko kasi malaman kung meron pa bang slots para sa mga transferee for Engineering. Hindi naman ako pwedeng pumunta dyan just to inquire at nandito ako sa mindanao. Kasi pagnalaman kong pwede pa ako magtransfer, I will immediately process all the requirements.
May alam po ba sa inyo kung pwede pa akong magtransfer. I e-mail PUP twice but there is no response about my queries. I hope na meron pa sanang slots until June for transferee.
